Welcome to the information page for the "Intro to Synchro Class" at Arctic Edge Ice Arena being held from October 1 thru November 12, 2023.

General CLASS/SESSION Details:

Session/Class Dates - Fall 2023: Oct. 1, 8, 15, 22, 29, Nov. 5, 12 (7 weeks)

Time: Sundays from 12:25-1:10 p.m.

Location: Arctic Edge Ice Arena, 46615 Michigan Ave, Canton, MI 48188

Concludes with a group performance in a skating show at Arctic Edge on Nov. 12!


Criteria/Requirements for enrollment: ​

  • Ages: Class is suited best for skaters ages 3-8 years old*

  • Skill Level: No significant skating experience required, but skaters should, at minimum, feel comfortable marching/gliding forward on-ice on two feet (Equivalent Learn-to-Skate levels Snowplow 1-2 thru Basic 5)

  • Equipment: Skaters are recommended (but not required) to have their own equipment. Skate rental will be available for skaters who need it for an additional fee each class.

  • Payment due upon registration (family discount available for multiple enrollments)

  • Please note, to participate in the class, skaters MUST have an active Learn-to-Skate USA membership for the 2023-2024 season for liability/safety reasons (if you do not currently have a membership through a Learn-to-Skate USA program, do not worry! Class organizers can guide you through a simple process to do so. Simply indicate this on your registration form)

*Skaters outside of this age range are welcome to reach out to for additional information.

Class format: Skaters will work in a group and individually with coaches and class instructors to learn the building blocks of synchronized figure skating in a fun, skill-building, and supportive atmosphere! By the end of the 7 week class, skaters will have learned how to perform the five basic elements of synchronized skating and will have a small recital routine set to music to showcase their development at the All-Team Synchro Show on Sunday, November 12, 2023.
