This is the pre-registration and info page for the FREE "Skate with a Team" event at Arctic Edge on Sunday, February 15, 2026 at Arctic Edge Arena in Canton, Michigan. This event invites skaters of all skill levels to experience a regular training session with an existing AEU team. Each team has a minimum recommended criteria for safety listed below with detailed times.

HOUSE 1/2 TEAMS - 11:10 a.m.-12:15 p.m. - All skill levels welcome - Will be split by age for on-ice activities

ASPIRE 2 TEAM - 11:40 a.m. - 1:10 p.m. - Safety Criteria: Passed a Basic 4 class or equivalent skills

​

ASPIRE 4 TEAM - 10:15-11:40 a.m. - Safety Criteria: Passed a Free Skate 1 class or equivalent skills

PRE-JUVENILE TEAM - 12:40-2:30 p.m. - Safety Criteria: Passed a USFS Preliminary Skating Skills Test

​

OPEN JUVENILE TEAM - 8:35-10:40 a.m. - Safety Criteria: Passed a USFS Bronze Skating Skills Test

​

OPEN MASTERS TEAM - 2:00-3:25 p.m. - Recommended Safety Criteria: Ages 24+, Passed a USFS Standard Track Pre-Preliminary OR Adult Pre-Bronze Skating Skills Test (or equivalent skills)

OPEN ADULT TEAM - 2:55-4:20 p.m. - Recommended Safety Criteria: Ages 17+, Passed a USFS Standard Track Bronze OR Adult Gold Skating Skills Test (or equivalent skills)​

Who's invited to these sessions?

Skaters ages 4-60+ interested in gaining new skills and learning more about competitive team opportunities at Arctic Edge Unity. No prior synchro experience necessary and safety/level criteria for each group listed above.

 

General Session Overview​: Attending skaters will participate/experience a regular training session with an AEU team. All times/sessions begin with off-ice and progress/conclude with an on-ice training segment.
