2026-2027 SEASON - clinic & tryout opportunities spring 2026
Whether you're looking to join an AEU team or simply learn more about our teams and vision, area skaters are invited to attend any of our upcoming events listed below. Arctic Edge Unity is proud to be one of the fastest growing and well established synchronized skating programs in the state of Michigan and within the US Figure Skating Midwestern Competitive Section. We are excited to be growing again for the 2026-2027 season and will continue to offer teams at the National-Qualifying, Sectional Competitive, Regional/Local Competitive, and adult levels. Observe a Training Session - Throughout the fall/winter season, interested skaters and families are invited to observe a training session that best suits their skating level. Contact ArcticSynchro@gmail.com for more information and training session dates/times.
Private/Virtual Evaluations - Between April 1 and September 1, skaters interested in scheduling a private or virtual evaluation can fill out the link below and will be contacted by ArcticSynchro@gmail.com for more information and to schedule a date/time of your convenience.
UPCOMING events - pre-season and spring 2026
February 15, 2026, 11:30 a.m. - 12:15 p.m. - FREE winter 'TRY SYNCHRO' beginner CLINIC @ ARCTIC EDGE
For beginner and advanced beginner level skaters, ages 4-14. All levels welcome (Snowplow Sam, Basic 1-5, Freeskate 1-4, and Private Lesson Skaters)
February 15, 2026, All Day . - FREE 'skate with a team' day @ ARCTIC EDGE (All levels)
for Skaters of all skill/experience levels are invited to join an AEU team for a regular team training session (safety/skill criteria and times for each team included at form)
March 8, 2026, TIME TBD - free ADVANCED skating SKILLS clinics (Pre-Preliminary thru gold skating skill LEVELS)
For new and returning skaters of all experience levels, ages 7-18. For skaters with Pre-Preliminary thru Gold Skating Skills Tests (session breakdown by levels). Recommended for skaters who are interested in participating in 26-27 team placement sessions.

2026-2027 spring team placement sessions (All teams/levels, beginner thru elite)
For skaters wishing to receive a commitment-free team invitation for the upcoming 2026-2027 synchronized skating season on a House (rec), Club (competitive), or Travel (advanced competitive) Level Team. Open to skaters of all skill and experience levels, ages 4-19 years (session breakdowns by levels). Please note: Adult aged team tryouts (ages 18-60+) will be held later in Spring 2026.
Tent. May/June 2026 - 26-27 Season adult skills placement sessions
Commitment-free skills and team placement sessions for adult participants of all skill and experience levels, ages 18-65+. For the 26-27 season, we anticipate placing teams at Adult/Open Adult Levels (Ages 18+) and Masters/Open Masters Levels (Ages 25+).
APRIL 1 THRU SEPTEMBER 30 - open enroll/register HOUSE (REC) SYNCHRO TEAMS
Skaters enroll in spring/summer for classes/sessions beginning fall 2026. These low-commitment and lower cost teams are designed for skaters of all skill and experience levels, ages 4-16. All levels welcome (Beginners, Snowplow Sam, Basic 1-5, Free Skate 1-4, and /or Private Lesson Skaters). Enrollment for these teams runs through September 30 annually (or until classes/teams filled, whichever is earliest).
tENT. MID SEPTEMBER sUNDAY - free fALL 'Try synchro' skills CLINIC @ arctic edge
For beginner and advanced beginner level skaters ahead of the start of our annual House Teams season in October, ages 4-16. All levels welcome (Snowplow Sam, Basic 1-5, Freeskate 1-4, and Private Lesson Skaters)
Private and/or virtual Team Placements
Private Team Placements and Video auditions can be arranged anytime during the Spring/Summer team placement season. Schedule by contacting Director Erin at arcticsynchro@gmail.com or call/text (248) 675 9581

During a private placement, our coaches will get the chance to better understand your skaters' skills to find the best team fit for them as well as answer any questions you may have about participation on the team. Upon the conclusion of private placement, you will receive your skater's team placement as well as any and all relevant information to make your decision regarding the upcoming season. Also, if you are interested, but out of town, we do accept video submissions.
